I never thought of Cracker Barrel as being culturally significant or interesting in any way, but you make a strong case!

I remember the culture shock of visiting the US, especially Florida, for the first time while I was living in Holland. And that's southern Holland, which feels southern when compared to the northern half.

I've spent time in Bristol, where the line in the middle of State Street divides Viriginia from Tennessee. I'm a northern boy at heart. I've made my home in the Pacific Northwest, and loved traveling to Finland this summer. I'm enjoying this series!
