There certainly something different in Paris, whether the way people dress, enjoy life, speak the language or have the opportunity to surround themselves with culture, and reading your reflections has brought back to mind the feeling of that intangible quality that it's quite unique to that city. It's hard to explain to those that haven't noticed it but easy to understand once you have.
Now I want to sit in Paris and watch people walk by too, croissant in hand. It’s an easy 4 or so hour train ride away from here and yet I’ve only seen 2 train stations on my way to / from London 😅
The thing about being part of the crowd and forgetting about your own experience is so true!! also people-watching. You painted the perfect picture!
